''The Grammy Award-winning singer, Tim Kubart and his band, the Space Cadets, are gearing up to bring their live music charm to Lagos on Thursday, April 26, at a concert organized by U.S. Mission Nigeria marking World Intellectual Property Day.
Also joining the Grammy Award-winning band are popular Nigerian artists including Iyanya, Bisola Aiyeola, and Jeff Akoh.
Organized by U.S. Mission Nigeria, in collaboration with leading talent agency and event firm, Temple Management Company (TMC), the night of music, fun, and enlightenment is scheduled to hold at Freedom Park, Lagos, Thursday, April 26, at 7:00pm.
“This concert highlights the creative energy of Nigerian and American artists,” said U.S. Ambassador W. Stuart Symington. “On World Intellectual Property Day, it also recognizes the importance of copyright in encouraging creative expression. Legal protections incentivize people to produce and share the work that contributes to our countries’ cultural and economic power.”
In his remarks, Terfa Tilley-Gyado, Director of Communication, TMC, said “It is an honour to work with the U.S. Embassy on this important project. This is the second time we are collaborating with the U.S. Mission in Nigeria and we promise a very fun night.”
The concert will be open to all members of the public and is billed to start at 7:00pm at Freedom Park, Lagos.
