This documentary series promises to be an incisive, interesting, and revealing account of the Hip Hop culture and the modern American society in the last 40 years, from the election of a black president to Micheal Jackson's video playing on MTV in the 80's, as well as see Hip Hop go mainstream over this period of time. This documentary is brought to live in the above video a narration by Steve Stoute, as well as personal accounts of successful icons from the Hip Hop community talking about their experiences and the evolution of Hip Hop.
In the words of Steve Stoute about the evolution of Hip Hop in modern history; “Tanning” is not simply the process of hip-hop culture being accepted by mainstream culture. This definitely promises to be one interesting documentary series i am sure you all can't afford to miss and it is set to air on VH1 February 24-27 2014.
