The Rapper/producer/songwriter/dancer and singer Missy Elliot has become the first female rapper to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame that took place on the 13th day of June, 2019. Missy Elliot started her career in an all girl R&B group called Sista in the early 90's then she later became a member of the Swing Mob along side her childhood friend Timbaland. In the year 1997 Missy Elliot released her debut album Supa Dupa Fly which debut at #3 on the on the Billboard 200 chart and becoming the highest debut for a female rapper of that era and she has released 6 studio album in a career spanning over 20 years. Missy has gone unto producing hits records for several A-List acts such as; Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Aaliyah, Total, 702, SWV, Destiny Child,Jodeci, Ariana Grande just to mention a few and she has had countless hits such as: Hot Boyz, All In My Grill, Get Your Freak On, One Minute Man, Work It, She's a Bitch and the list goes on. The Grammy Award winning artist is undeniably one of the best to have done it as both a performer and recording artist.
