Finding Fela; captures the essence of Afrobeat and the experiences in Fela's life at that time, which lead and inspired him to put out such a genre based on his social commentary on political issues in Nigeria and Africa.
Questlove, Paul McCartney and Carlos Moore along with Kuti’s children Femi, Yeni, and Seun all made appearances speaking to the power of the music through the legacy Fela Kuti left behind.
