Here is the trailer for the James Brown biopic directed by Tate Taylor with Chadwick Boseman bring James Brown charismatic and energetic vibe and character to life. ''Get On Up'' tells the story of James Brown's struggle and triumph from destitute poverty in Augusta, Georgia to becoming an electric and legendary performer that paved the way for him on the path of funk tradition as the epitome of “The One.”
The movie was executive produced by Brian Grazer and Mick Jagger, with a great line up of cast members such as; Jill Scott, Aloe Blacc, Octavia Spencer, Nelsan Ellis, Bobby Byrd, Craig Robinson, Maceo Parker, Black Thought, Pee Wee Ellis and Dan Aykroyd.
’Get On Up’ is set to hit the theatre on the 1st of August, in the meantime check the trailer above.
